On 16th November 2014 the famous Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal and Kidambi Srikanth won China open 2014 singles titles of Badminton. Both clinched the single title of badminton (Men and Woman).
They bagged 700000 US dollar as a prize money at China open 2014 Fuzhou, China. Saina Nehwal defeated Akane Yamaguchi of Japan where Kidambi Srikanth defeated  Lin Dan of China ( 2 times Olympic champion and 5 times world champion ). On 15th to 16th November 2014 9th G20 Summit Was Held in Australia where major economies of world participated. The agenda of  9th G20 Summit 2014 was to promote the economic growth upto 2 % in up coming five years.
Members of G20 Summit – Canada, China, Argentina, Australia, Brazil,Germany, India, European Union, France,Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea,Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, UK and the US.

On 17th November 2014 Akash missile (Surface to Surface) was test fired IAF at Odisha. The Akash Missile destroyed the target which was hanging approx 14km and 1.2 km altitude. The target has been dropped by MiG-27 aircraft of the Indian Air Force.

On 12th November 2014 12th ASEAN-India Summit 2014 held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. The ASEAN summit 2014 has been attended by all the head of the ASEAN member. In ASEAN summit 2014 all the heads were decided to take the trade up to 100 billion US Dollar by 2015.
The total trade of ASEAN and India reached 67.9 billion US dollar in 2013. The Next ASEAN-India 2015 Summit will be held in Cambodia in 2015. [Important Weekly Current Affairs November 2014]

India And Fiji Signed Three MoU During the visit of PM MODI

On 19th November 2014 India and Fiji signed three bilateral agreements during the visit of India prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM of Fiji Josiah V Bainimarama and PM modi signed all those agreements in Suva,Fiji.
Three MoUs that were signed were
• MoU on Cooperation on exchange of information on structure and content of training programs for diplomats to foster closer exchanges between India and Fiji, as well as the Pacific region.
• MoU on earmarking of land for the Diplomatic Missions in respective capitals to provide a permanent location for the conduct of bilateral relations and will be an iconic presence in Suva.
• MoU for extending 70 million US dollars Line of Credit for establishing a Co-Generation Plant at Rarawai Sugar Mills in Fiji to expand the scope of bilateral cooperation in the sugar sector by enhancing value addition and addressing climate change concerns.
Besides, the signing of three MoUs, it was also agreed to
• Identify opportunities to expand trade and investments and work out a concrete road map;
• Expand defence and security cooperation, including assistance in defence training and capacity building;
• Consult each other more closely on international issues of mutual interest, including international trade, climate change, United Nations Peacekeeping and UN reforms
• Extending visa on arrival facility for the people of the pacific island nation
• Providing 5 million US dollar fund to promote small business and village enterprises

On 20th November 2014 Union Government will Launch Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DUGJY). The Union government also decided to merge the new scheme with Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) and Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DUGJY) together.
The Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DUGJY) Scheme would help in
• Improvement in hours of power supply in rural areas
• Reduction in peak load
• Improvement in billed energy based on metered consumption and
