Bal Swachhta Mission and Udaan programme Launched by Union Government Nation Wide

On 14th november 2014 the union government of India has launched Bal Swachhta Mission and Udaan programme on the birth day of Pandit Jawahar lal Nehru who was also first prime minister of India. 

Maneka Sanjay Gandhi also release a book on this auspicious occasion on Bal Swachhta Mission which is developed by NIPCCD. On the other hand the HRD minister Smirit Irani also launched a new government scheme specially for girls called Udaan programme. India Successfully test-fired Dhanush ballistic missile and Prithvi-II surface-to-surface missile

Dhanush-ballistic-missile and Prithvi II -Current Affairs 13th,14th And 15th November 2014

On 14th November 2014 India test-fired Dhanush ballistic missile at Odisha Coast. The Dhanush ballistic missile has been launched form a naval ship. Dhanush ballistic missile can carry nuclear payload of 500 to 1000 kilogram and can easily hit target at Land or Water. Dhanush missile has been developed by DRDO under Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP). Dhanush ballistic missile is already inducted in India Army.

On 13th November 2014 DRDO successfully test fired Prithvi-II surface-to-surface missile at Odhisa coast under the regular exercise of Strategic Force Command of Defence (SFC). Prithvi-II  is nuclear capable missile and can carry 500 kg to 1000 kg of warheads. Prithvi-II  also has a strike range of 350 km. Prithvi II is first missile of India which is developed by DRDO under the Integrated Guided Missile Development Program (IGMDP).
